805BostonParis

Its a dream come true.

I will celebrate my one year anniversary of living in Boston with 5 weeks in Paris to study french.  I always wanted to study french in Paris ever since I was a college student, but I always had a summer job so I couldn't.  Now, since I am underemployed, my children are grown, my responsibilities are much less, I pretty much make the coffee and feed the cat.  So, since I have this window of time in my life, Marc is so lovingly gifting me with my dream of a lifetime.    First, I am coming home to Ventura for a week to support the boys as they sit for the MCAT and then help them move into their own apartment.  They've been studying all summer for this test and I'm so proud of them.  I just want to be there to make cookies for a study treat.  Then I fly home to Boston and meet Marc at the airport to catch yet another plane to Nice.   We will be wined and dined in Grasse during a Marblehead- MA-Grasse, Fr sister city fete.  After a few days in the South of France I go off, by myself, to Paris to enroll in the Alliance Francaise 4 hour a day french language and culture immersion.   Oh, how this takes my breath away.  I will be blogging about my experiences and the places I see and what I eat so follow along and please leave me comments so I can have company.
