Today I had a Parisian driving lesson.

How to drive in Boston during rush hour like you're french:
Make sure you never let anyone cut in front of you. Call everyone an asshole... in French. Create your own left lane and pass 25 cars all waiting to make a right turn, at the intersection you make an illegal right turn in front of the line of cars while flicking off the angry drivers making this face which says ef you.

  1. This was a Bostonian driving lesson. For Parisian:
do the same with a stick shift,
never hold the wheel with more than 2 fingers,
always yell your insults to all the idiots going too slow with your window down,
stop holding the wheel all together as you pass cars going under the speed limit in the right lane to give them and the drivers coming in the opposite direction, le feengueur
understand traffic law apply to all others, but you stand above the crowd, especially today
and finally, dont be afraid to kiss and drive!

  2. Agghhh ... you have NOTHING on NY drivers! We know, collectively, the traffic laws don't apply to anyone. The whole purpose of the exercise is forward motion and you effectuate that any way necessary. Driving on the sidewalk is encouraged when emergencies ensue.

Michelle - typical NY Driver who CANNOT stand CA drivers, particularly since they can't merge, even with these wonderful highways. Go figure.

  3. Michelle, in Paris, no one pays any attention to lines in the street or streetlights for that manner.
